We’ve had a great year at our Shallowater Women’s group. We have been very busy helping out many in our community. Each month we have provided help for organizations and people. Thanks to all of these women for donating their time, money, and support to these projects. Twelve members were present on April 10th. Jane Blackburn led the meeting on the Ten Commandments: honoring your father and mother. Everyone shared special stories and memories of their parents. The silver was polished on April 3rd and it looks beautiful. Work continued at Mustard Seed on April 17th . Thanks to everyone for always helping. New officers were elected: President - Claire Seale; Vice President - Marcia Powe; Treasurer - Marie Lusk; Secretary - Sheryl Rieken. May 8th we will meet for the last time this year until September. We will have a devotion, games, and pot luck lunch. We will meet at 11:00 and enjoy some fun and fellowship. Please join us with some great salads to share with one another. We will work all summer at Mustard Seed on each third Monday. We will continue our Bible Study on the Ten Commandments in September. Please join us for the 100 Year Celebration of the Church on April 30th from 3 to 5 pm. This is a wonderful milestone for the church and we hope everyone can attend. Join us for our monthly meeting on May 8th at 11:00. Bring your favorite salad or dessert to share for a great pot luck lunch and fun fellowship. May 15th we will work at Mustard Seed. We will not work at the church on May 1st. See you May 8th!
