Shallowater Methodist Women News 
 

We had a wonderful fellowship lunch at our May 12th meeting. Ten members, our beautiful little Eleanor, Vicki Lilley, and the guest speaker enjoyed this awesome feast. I thank God for blessing us with wonderful cooks.

 

Leonor Espinoza from TX Department of Family and Protective

Services shared vital information about ways our church could help meet the needs of families in our community. Leonor stated we could help through our prayers, donations, hosting events, and providing a Rainbow Room to collect needed items. We will be addressing these needs at a church meeting.

 

Our women’s group will be meeting at Fred’s Garage to fellowship as we take a break during June and July. I hope to see those who are able to attend on June 11th at Freds at 2:30 pm.

 

We will resume our regular meeting in August.
